About Us

Riley was Sheena's original photographic muse, our faithful companion and OG adventure dog. During our time spent traveling full-time, Riley made it to 42 states, both oceans, countless trails, beaches and campsites. We were privileged to have him with us on that great adventure. He lived the best of his golden years doing what he loved most, with the people he loved most. Riley's inspiring story, which Sheena had the honor of writing, was featured in the pages of ROVA magazine—something we'll always be incredibly proud of. It was a beautiful way to honor such a beautiful boy.

We will forever be grateful for the time we shared with Riley—every chapter of it—but especially that final one, spent together on the wide open road. We always worried that full-time travel would be too hard on an old, blind dog. But boy, did he prove us wrong. He thrived. Some of the best memories of our lives were made with him by our side, exploring new places, chasing sunsets, and simply being present in the moment. We find ourselves saying, “Remember when Riley…” at least once a week. He was so brave. In the end, I think that was one of Riley's biggest lessons for us. Stop, appreciate the present moment, and just... be. 

Riley was courageous, soulful, and deeply inspiring—truly one of a kind. We always said he felt like some otherworldly being, sent to earth for a short visit. He was wise beyond measure, stoic, and an absolute master in the art of relaxation and zen. Just being near him brought a sense of calm and peace.

He’ll always be our first soul dog—the one who showed us how deep the bond with a dog can really go. And we know that not a single day will pass for the rest of our lives without thinking of him. We’re just so grateful that he chose to spend his time on earth with us.
