- Exercise first – A short walk or play session before the shoot can help release nervous energy so your pup feels more relaxed.
- Bring favorite treats and toys – These help with focus, expression, and rewarding good behavior.
- Groom in advance – A light brushing and clean face (especially eyes and nose) go a long way on camera.
- Collars & tags – Consider removing noisy or bulky tags if they’ll be distracting in photos, or choose a collar that complements your outfit.
- Pack extras – Water, a lint roller, poop bags, and a towel for paws can be helpful, especially if we’re outdoors.

These sessions are about love, connection and honoring your time together — come as you are.
- Let them rest before – Give your pup quiet time before the session so they aren’t overstimulated or overtired.
- Keep them comfortable – We’ll move at their pace and choose poses and setups that are gentle on joints.
- Favorite blanket or bed – Including familiar items brings comfort and makes beautiful, meaningful images.
- Short and sweet – We’ll keep the session calm and flexible, with no pressure to “perform.”
